The volume and power buttons are on the side and are NOT dug in so although changing volume may be easy, so is unlocking the mp3 player (which to any person who uses their mp3 player while doing any sort of physical activity where you cannot stop and fix the settings) Also, the lock/unlock button is the power button which you have to hold for a short period of time to lock but if you hold it too long it shuts down. The "Pause" button is very easy to hit and it is very easy to accidentally next to the following song. It is only a touch pad, not a touch screen. Navigation is very hard, you have to keep lifting your finger to scroll. So I took it, and upon using it I have found that it is inconvenient in multiple ways. Since my fuze was shorting out I had to get an exchange. This review is from SanDisk - Sansa Fuze+ 4GB* MP3 Player - Black Don't know about this one.īottom Line: Overall, this is a great unit if you just want to listen to music and want good expandability I had an older Fuze from a few years ago and the video was sub-par. After spending a couple of days, I learned my way around, but that was rather frustrating at first. I felt like some of the menu options were hidden and difficult to find. I don't really like the touch pad for the scrolling/tapping. Navigating the menus was a chore at first. I have nice headphones, so it sounds even better, but I took the stock earbuds on a plane ride and they were quite adequate. Sound quality is surprisingly good even with the stock headphones. Media player is where all my ripped CDs are so it's much easier for me to transfer music with this device. My son has an iPod and I swear I hate iTunes. Very very easy to transfer music to this device. I also like how it interfaces with Media Player. You can purchase a 32GB for about $50 these days which ups the memory to 36GB.
#Sansa sandisk fuze plus
Perhaps the biggest plus is how easy it is to expand the memory. It's a good looking unit with a good screen. This is actually a great player for the price.
